William Burton Nichols Memorial Scholarship Fund
William (Willie) Nichols attended San Benito High 1974-1978. He ran cross country, played golf on the golf team, greatly enjoyed science classes, participated in the photography program, played in the band, ran the lighting and special effects as well as set construction for theater productions, and enjoyed the auto body and mechanics program. He was lost due to declining health in May of 2020. His family would like to honor his memory by awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a San Benito HS student who plans to attend a four-year college in an area of science.
