Matt Lopez Scholarship

The intent of the Matt Lopez Scholarship is to provide financial support to graduating Hollister High School seniors who will be attending either a two-year college, four-year unitversity, or a certified vocational training institution.

Award

Up to $1,000

Eligibility Requirements

  • Graduating high school senior at Hollister High School
  • Attending either a two-year college, four-year unitversity, or a certified vocational training institution
  • 2.5 GPA or above

A Complete Application includes:

  • Online scholarship application
  • 3 letters of recommendation (two from a teacher or academic advisor, one from a community member)
    • School letters must be on official school letterhead. All letters must be signed and dated
  • Transcript of recent grades
  • Personal statement about 1 1/2 - 2 pages double spaced, inluding why you are deserving of this scholarship
