San Benito GIVES is Just Around the Corner

On Tuesday, September 10th, nonprofits who serve San Benito County will participate in San Benito GIVES. This is a 24-hour, online event powered by social media and the collaboration of 35 organizations who will be competing for your donation, as well as matching funds.
The Monterey Peninsula Foundation has provided a $50,000 grant to the Community Foundation for San Benito County to provide matching funds and prizes. In addition, a $20,000 grant provided by Silicon Valley Community Foundation will be used to match funds that are deposited into endowments. Many of the nonprofits have secured additional matching money for their organization, so in some instances, a gift to your favorite nonprofit could be tripled.
Tomorrow, visit San Benito GIVES and make a positive impact to services and programs provided by nonprofits who serve San Benito County. Give to your heart’s desire; it's easy and secure. Each unique email used in conjunction with a donation will be counted on the leader board. At the end of the day, the nonprofit with the most unique donors will receive a cash prize of $3,000.
