San Benito Community Auction Success!

Community Foundation for San Benito County hosted a second Community Auction for our nonprofit community in August, in a continued effort to provide a fundraising opportunity to support these organizations and their operational needs. This auction, once again, provided a safe alternative to in-person events, allowing bidders to participate from the comfort and safety of their own homes. With the use of the Greater Giving Auction platform, over $79,000.00 was raised, benefitting the 31 nonprofit participants, 5 of which were new to the auction this year. The 152 auction items made bidding fierce for many of the one-of-a-kind packages or experiences.

The Community Foundation would like to thank the participating organizations and bidders for the success of this on-line event. Deep gratitude also goes to the volunteer auction committee and staff that spent countless hours organizing and managing this effort.
