Learn How The Philanthropic Center Connects, Builds, and Transforms
The Community Foundation serves as a hub for charitable collaboration, a beacon for the nonprofit community, a place to think, create, plan, gather, and inspire. Since 1992, we've encouraged and enabled philanthropy where we live.
We invite you to learn more about the philanthropic center we've proposed to the city for the benefit of San Benito County residents. View our preliminary drawings and read our story about how our quest for a long-lasting home led us to the 400 block.
In the near future, we will be hosting an informational meeting about the current stage in our development of the philanthropic center. In addition, we will be gathering information from the community in an effort to learn more about what is needed.
Lastly, on Friday, July 7, 2017, City Staff and the RDA/Successor Agency expert aims to provide the community with a factually based presentation on the development of the 400 block property at City Hall. In addition, the city will give an overview of the history and future of housing in our community.
Below is the proposed agenda:
6:00pm-6:05pm Welcome
6:05pm- 6:30pm The history and future of housing in our community from City representative.
6:30pm -7:00pm Presentation by Mary Paxton and Lynn Hutchins of Goldfarb Lipman on RDA/Successor agency and the 400 block
