Meals for Heroes
Meals for Heroes! The Hollister Downtown Association, with funding support from the Community Foundation for San Benito County, is pleased to announce the launch of Meals for Heroes. Meals for Heroes will work with local restaurants to provide meals to the Hazel Hawkins Hospital front line staff. Our plan will deliver meals to the hard-working employees of our hospital during this pandemic. Their tireless work has not gone unnoticed and we sincerely appreciate their commitment to the healthcare of our residents. The Hollister Downtown Association will coordinate meal deliveries with the Hospital and our local restaurants. To extend the program, we welcome donors who would like to financially support Meals for Heroes. Donations may be made to the Community Foundation for San Benito County. Please notate “Meals for Heroes” in the Memo line of your donation. Donors will receive a tax letter from the Foundation.
