Latino Generations Social Event May 3

The Latino Generations Committee (LGC) has partnered with the Community Foundation for San Benito County for Silicon Valley Gives to further educate and cultivate the Latino community in our county. On Tuesday, May 3, starting at midnight and continuing for a 24-hour period, the committee will raise money online in an effort gain financial support to invest in the most pressing needs facing Latinos. The Community Foundation is offering a 1:1 match (up to $25,000) for donations made through the SV Gives Latino Generations Endowment Fund web page.

In addition, the LGC invites the community to a social event on Tuesday, May 3, from 5:30-8 p.m .at La Catrina Mexican Grill located on 449 San Benito St. in Hollister. La Catrina will provide free appetizers and live music for all to enjoy. The LGC welcomes you to come learn more about the Latino Generations endeavors for 2016. Come meet committee members, donors, and participants on this joyous day of giving. If you would like to donate at the event, laptops will be available on site and committee members will be available to provide assistance if needed.
