Robert D. Scattini Memorial Scholarship

Robbie Scattini was loyal to friends, loving to family, caring to strangers and forever devoted to his beloved community. A lifelong resident of San Benito County with decades of dedicated public service, Robbie graduated from San Benito High School in 1958. Throughout his life, Robbie never stopped supporting his alma mater - he was a Haybaler through and through. His family wishes to continue this tradition by honoring his memory with a permanent scholarship fund.

Started with a generous donation from his loving granddaughter, Mackenzie, the scholarship will be awarded to a Hollister High School graduates seeking an education in the arts (with a strong preference for music majors) or majoring in agriculture.

Eligibility Requirements

• Hollister High School graduating senior
  
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Enrolling in a 4 year university for a degree in the arts (music major preferred) or degree with a major in agriculture
  

A Complete Application includes:

• Scholarship application completed in its entirety
• Household/Financial information
• Letter of reference from a teacher or community member
• Personal Statement (1 - 2 pages double spaced) including one of the following:
  • Why you have chosen to pursue a career in the arts and /or why you strive to accomplish a music major in college.
  • Why you have chosen to pursue a career in agriculture.
• Transcript (official or unofficial)
