Marilyn and Richard Ferreira Scholarship

The Marilyn and Richard Ferreira Scholarship was established to support Hollister High School graduating students in San Benito County continuing in athletics at a 4 year College or University.

Eligibility Requirements

  • A San Benito County resident
  • Graduate at Hollister High School
  • GPA 3.0 or higher (recommended)
  • Continuing athlete

A Complete Application includes:

  • Online scholarship application
  • 3 letters of recommendation (two from a teacher or academic advisor, one from a community member)
    • School letters must be on official school letterhead. All letters must be signed and dated
  • Personal Statement (1 1/2 - 2 pages double spaced) including why you are deserving of this scholarship and how you visualize your future.
  • Transcript of the most grades
