A Season of Celebration: Join Us This Fall at the Community Foundation for San Benito County
Fall is always a special season here at the Community Foundation for San Benito County — and this year, we've got three unforgettable events on the calendar. Whether you're a longtime donor, a community partner, or someone just discovering the work we do, there's a place for you at each of these gatherings.
State of the Foundation — September 22, 2026 | Hollister Veterans' Memorial Building
We kick off the season with our State of the Foundation event, where we'll share where CFFSBC has been, where we're headed, and how our community's generosity continues to shape San Benito County. This is your chance to hear directly from our leadership team about the impact of the past year and the vision for what's ahead.
It's also a great opportunity to connect with fellow community members who care deeply about the future of our county — from longtime supporters to new faces just getting involved.
Latino Generations 10th Anniversary Celebration — October 10, 2026 | Damm Vineyard
This fall marks a major milestone: Latino Generations is turning 10. Over the past decade, this program has awarded 127 scholarships totaling nearly $183,000, investing directly in Latino students and leaders across San Benito County. We're celebrating that decade of impact with a gala evening at the beautiful Damm Vineyard.
Expect an evening full of heart — stories from the students and families this program has touched, good food, good company, and a genuine celebration of what it means to invest in generations. If you've been part of this journey, or you're just hearing about Latino Generations for the first time, this is the celebration you won't want to miss.
National Philanthropy Day — November 19, 2026 | Hollister Veterans' Memorial Building
We close out the season with National Philanthropy Day, honoring the individuals, families, and organizations whose generosity powers change across San Benito County. This year's theme, "250 Years of Freedom, Generations of Giving," ties our celebration of philanthropy to the broader story of our nation's 250th anniversary — a fitting reminder that giving back has always been part of who we are.
Nonprofits are also invited to submit their nominations before September 1st.
