COVID-19 Relief Grant

In response to the Coronavirus crisis, the Community Foundation for San Benito County, in collaboration with United Way of San Benito County, has activated the COVID-19 Relief Fund to distribute resources to local nonprofits supporting those impacted by this crisis and the economic fallout that is likely to follow.

Our community has always demonstrated a generous spirit when it comes to matters of the heart. Help us meet the needs of San Benito County as we work through this crisis together by donating to the COVID-19 Relief Fund.

San Benito GIVES Community Auction!

The Community Foundation for San Benito County is pleased to announce it will be hosting a county-wide online auction to benefit nonprofits and service organizations in San Benito County. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of nonprofits have had to cancel or scale back their traditional fundraisers. To provide assistance, the Community Foundation has chosen to replace its annual San Benito Gives day of giving event with a 5-day online auction, called San Benito Gives Community Auction, taking place November 13 through November 17th this fall.

San Benito Gives Community Auction Goes Online

The Community Foundation is hosting a county wide online auction to benefit participating nonprofits in San Benito County. The Auction, called the San Benito Gives Community Auction will take place on November 13 through the 17th. Each participating nonprofit will secure amazing auction items to offer on their page at the Auction Website. A buyer can register on the Auction Website at and then search for their favorite organization's items or search by auction item type.


Sharlene Retires and We Welcome Ana

Earlier this year our Marketing Coordinator, Sharlene Van Rooy, retired after 5 years of great service to the Community Foundation for San Benito County. Sharlene has been an integral part of the Foundation and her hard work, dedication, efficiency and attention to detail will be greatly missed. We wish her the best of luck with the next chapter of her life and may she keep inspiring us with all the passion that she lives life with.
